MAY 2005

ALONE IN A CROWD

Although this single yellow tulip stood out in stark contrast to the surrounding crowd of handsome purple blooms, upon opening, it's throat was the deepest shade of violet. Perhaps this is a garden metaphore reminding us that deep inside we are all the same.

Spanish Hogfish

and

Irridescent Vase Sponge

Spanish Hogfish are some of the most colorful reef fish on Bonaire.....and voracious predators of smaller fish. Circling around a formation of irridecent vase sponges in search of a snack,these two Hogfish created a colorful reefscape.
